This is an excellent BRAKE SOLUTION for your OCC Schwinn Chopper Project. Kit Includes: A High Quality / Heavy Duty / Sturmey Archer Drum Brake Hub (professionally) laced up into an HD ALLOY Rim. Included is a 2 into 1 brake lever and everything you need to make the brake functional.
Note: Tall arm on hub must be anchored to fork [clamps shown / included] in order for Brake system to function.
20% MORE BRAKING SURFACE than the 170mm wheel. Do not get me wrong - I have built dozens of front 170mm Drum Hub wheels for Stingray [motorized] projects... excellent braking. However, this 190mm offers a lot more braking power for just a few dollars more! Best possible front braking system for OCC style motorized Schwinn Stingray! GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN - LIMITED INVENTORY / AVAILABILITY. *** tire in photo is 3 inches wide and will not fit in stock stingray forks. Tire below is recommended and fits Stingray.

This is your ECONOMY OCC BRAKE SOLUTUION...
2 - OCC Schwinn Fork Legs in New or Like New condition
1 - Pair of Shimano Quality or better Linear "V" Brake Calipers
1- 2 into 1 brake Lever
1 - Front brake cable & casing
Note: Original Chrome [studded] fork legs are getting difficult to find in LIKE / NEW Condition. So original chrome is based on availability.
FRONT DISC BRAKE is possible on the Stingray but to do it right - fork legs have to be replaced.... As the stingray fork legs have the axle mounts welded in the center of the fork tube which is not a good location when a wheel w/disc is mounted. There is no clearance for rotor and it will rub on fork leg. Also - stock wheel has to be replaced with wheel that has a [disc hub]. see photo [left] . IF INTERESTED IN FRONT DISC BRAKE = CONTACT ME IN FORM AT BOTTOM OF PAGE FOR ESTIMATES.
